Hedychium coronarium

This is the white ginger lily, it is noted for its luxurious fragrance. The large white flowers form in late summer above the lovely green lance shaped foliage that set the flowers off. Height and spread 1.5m. This variety does also have the RHS award of garden merit which means it will always do well in a garden environment.  Great in pots or a tropical border.
