Agave deserti

As the name suggest this is the desert Agave. Native to deserts in Arizona and California where it grows on rocky slopes and mounds. Forming a rosette of Grey green leaves that reach up to 70cm long each. Sharp spines form along the leave edges and at the tip of each leaf. A great plant to grow in pots and containers or in a free draining soil in the garden. A fabulous addition to a succulent or Agave collection. Drought tolerant.
