Aloe marlothii

This is a robust and striking Aloe. Growing a single stemmed Aloe with a majestic presence. This South African aloe is commonly known as the mountain Aloe and is said to be the most rewarding Aloes to grow. With large grey-green leave that have maroon spine on the upper and lower leaf surfaces. It can be found in abundance is several areas including the mountain ranges of the Drakensburg to name one. They are frost tolerant there but I suggest caution when growing in the UK.
